The last projection for August with the masterpiece movie “the photo” by Nikos Papatakis, on Wednesday, August 30, at 8.45 pm, in the garden of “Mesopotamia”, Platonos 13, in Moschato.
About the movie:
Nikos Papatakis’ “The Photo” is a seamless and fair film to the top creations of Greek cinema, and despite the fact that it is mostly unfolding in Paris, it is one of the most insightful filming glances that fell upon the more recent history of Greece. […] During the years of the dictatorship, Ilias served a difficult term in the army, described as a communist’s son who fought and was killed in the Civil War. […] He leaves for Paris and tries to approach a furry that has been there for years, Gerasimos, a distant relative of his mother. Day by day, a relationship of trust and love develops between them, but at the same time everything is built upon a foolish lie that Ilias told Gerasimos. ”
