The following Wednesday, 26th of July, we completes projections of July by projecting the film “Frances Ha” (B/W, 86΄, 2012) by the American director Noah Baumbach.

“At the movie “Frances Ha”, Frances (Greta Gerwing) is a young woman twenty seven years old who has by far pass by the adolescence, she is not a student and she hasn;t a job. The audience watches her steps through her effort integrating in society, playing a role that will define her adultness.

Apart from the mentions to Woody Allen (“Manhattan”), the movie pays tribute to the french nouvelle vague (in a scene the name of Jean Piere Leaud is mentioned) and the cinema of Gaudard, with continuous dialogues between young people that reveal various concerns about the relations and life, with a spontaneous and unpretententious spirit. The black and white picture is typical and advocates for the previous said.”
